    Hi Olivia and Toi!

You can send any form to your clients via email by first creating a trip, and then following the guide here: https://help.traveljoy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360016308711-Send-a-form-

Yes, I'm looking to link a form to my Business IG page, is this possible?

    Hi Briana!

You'll first need to embed the form somewhere, such as a website, so that you have a link to the page where the form is displayed. From there, you can add the link to your Instagram bio.

You can see how to embed a form here: https://help.traveljoy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360016308691-Embed-a-client-inquiry-form-on-your-website-

The link is actually listed within the embed code

    Hi there!

Thank you for pointing this out! You are correct that this link found within the embed code can be used - but do take in mind that the formatting of the form within this link cannot be customized. As long as you are okay with sharing this option with your client, you are more than welcome to do so! :)

Hi, I don't think I understand. What are the limitations?

Hi C! The limitations are very minor. The link contains the form in its most simple presentation. While the form functions as needed, there is no header or trip photo that agents or clients may be used to seeing. Hope this helps provide a bit more clarity on my last comment! :)

@Alison when using embed feature are we only supposed to use the highlighted portion above of the actual code to embed versus the entire code? When I have tried copy and lasting to my editor section the long code does not work !

No, you use the whole code when embedding. But honestly I’ve tried embedding on both Wix and Wordpress sites and it never worked. One told me it was unsupported script and the other told me I needed to pay more for it to be supported. I ended up canceling both sites and using my host provided site and it worked. A simple work around could be to post the link on your website, if you can’t get it to embed.

    Hi Alison!

While I'm not sure about limitations related to pricing plans for the two services you've mentioned, I know that they're both technically capable of supporting an iFrame embed, so I'm curious about the one that told you the script was unsupported.

If you happen to have a screenshot of that error (and which service you were using when you saw it), please feel free to share it here and I'll be happy to take a closer look!

I don't have a screenshot or anything like that, I canceled those back in February. I was probably given bad advice via tech support from Wix but had reached a dead end and moved on. I have no doubt there's a way, or a pricing plan, that allows it to work but I never got there. Wordpress was the site that let me know I had to go to a higher paid tier before it would work, and I was already on a paid plan with them.. just not enough I guess. The tricky thing with them is that it looks like the form is there until you go to publish and then it won't appear. Hopefully this helps someone.

    Thanks for that, Alison!

I looked into it, and confirmed that WordPress.com requires upgrading to a plugin-enabled plan to add iFrames -- which, to clarify, is the tool we use to embed the form -- and they outline that information here for anyone who needs this.

The Wix instructions are available here for their own editor: https://support.wix.com/en/article/wix-editor-embedding-a-site-or-a-widget

To build off this question, will Traveljoy be adding the functionality of sending a link to a form that is NOT already part of a client trip?

For example, I want to make it easy for my clients to send me their requests for simple hotel bookings. I created a "Hotel Booking Request" form that I want to include on my branded document outlining the various hotel elite programs we're a part of, so that clients can easily send me the details needed when they need to book just a hotel; once I created the form, I realized I can't send it. The embed link also doesn't work in the Canva doc. This would be really helpful to have, is there something I'm missing? Or is there a plan to add this feature? Thanks!

Hi Jenny Park! Great question! I am happy to add this as a feature request. That said, there are a couple of options here. The one we recommend most is to embed the form on your website and then use the link from your website on your Canva document.
Another workaround we've seen agents use is to create a Group specifically for Hotel Booking Requests and utilize the Group Form. When the form is filled out, it will automatically create a trip!

Thank you for the response and for adding this as a feature request. I do think the link functionality would add a lot of value, as it eliminates quite a few steps for us.

I agree it would be good to get a link rather than an embedded code. I currently link to my form in many places on my website and it is not the only thing on that page. So, I can embed the form on my website, but I still won't have a link that goes directly to the form itself by doing that. I guess I could create a landing page just for the form, but as been mentioned, that is an extra step. A simple link to the form would be a whole lot easier. Also, to clarify, I see that you can take the link out of the embedded code, but then you just have a page without your name or logo or anything on it.
