Note: You can send a message to a client outside of a trip in TravelJoy, but it is important to first understand that any messages created this way cannot be moved into a trip later. If you are messaging a client about a potential trip (i.e. a lead or inquiry), create the trip first and message the client from the trip. |
To send a message to your client without creating a trip, first go to their client profile. You can find their client profile by visiting the Clients page or by searching for their name in the unified search box at the top of the page.
From the client's profile, click "Client Messages" to pull up their direct message feed:
On the next page, you will be able to send a message, including attachments, just as you would on a trip:
When the client replies, you will receive an email notification just as you would if the client replied via a trip message, and the message will appear in this direct message feed.
Note: You can always get back to the direct message feed by clicking "Client Messages" on the client's profile. |
