Introduction
Occasionally, trip email addresses may get leaked to people who are not clients. For example, a client's email inbox may be compromised and used to transmit spam to addresses stored in the contact list, which may include this trip email address. As a result, you may receive unwanted messages in that client's trip message feed:
To remove these unwanted messages and block the senders, you can report the messages as spam.
Client Messages
If you see an unwanted message in your feed, select the three dot action menu at the bottom-right corner of the message and click the Mark message as spam option.
A dialog will pop up asking you if you would like to mark this message as spam and remove it from your feed, and optionally remove the sender and all of their messages within this trip:
If you donβt check the box, the message will be removed from your feed and no other action will be taken.
If you do check the box:
- The message will be removed from your feed.
- All other messages from that sender will be removed from the current trip
- The sender will be removed as a traveler on that trip.
- The sender will still be present under the Clients tab in Contacts. If you wish to remove that client, check out this guide
Supplier Messages
A similar feature exists for supplier messages, which works the same as those from regular clients with the following difference. If you choose to remove all messages from that supplier:
- All messages from that supplier on the current trip will be removed.
- The supplier will still be present under the Suppliers tab in Contacts. If you wish to remove that supplier, check out this guide
