Merge fields allow you to automatically include details such as a client's name, trip dates, final payment due dates, and more in your email templates. This ensures each email feels personalized without manually adding these details every time!Ā
To insert a merge field, open the desiredĀ Email Template, click the three dots on the editor toolbar, and select āInsertā¦ā. Then, choose the desired merge field from the drop-down menu and click Save once finished:Ā
If you try to send an email template with merge fields but the necessary data is missing, you will receive a message advising you to complete the information before sending :Ā
Note: If you include the final payment due date merge field in an email template sent during the invoice process, it will show the due date for that specific invoice. However, if you use this merge field in an email template sent outside of the invoice process, it will display the last final payment due date out of all invoices associated with the trip.

Is there a way to add merge fields for the traveler that's CC'd on the emails, as well?
I'm sending emails to husband/wife and only the primary name shows up. "Hi Kathy"
So I have to edit to add the spouse... "Hi Kathy & Dane" when they're both on in the email fields. The 2nd traveler is just as important as the 1st, and I always feel terrible if I leave them out accidentally.Ā
This would save me significant time when sending trip emails to both clients.
Hi Kathy Bjorklund, this is a great feature request! I can agree that having this ability would be helpful to the workflow when you want to address all of the travelers you are communicating with. This has been shared with the team internally! :)
Can you add a merge field such as final payment date to an email if you don't use the invoice feature?Ā
Also, is it possible to add a merge field for another important date, such as Disney dining date?Ā
