Overview
Send a message from an individual trip
| 💡 Note: Forms, proposals, and invoices cannot be sent using this method, even if you choose an email template which mentions it. For these cases, please use the blue Create button. Click here to learn more |
To send a message, open the trip by clicking the trip name on your dashboard (or by searching for the trip name in the search bar).
When the trip loads, you will be taken directly to the trip's Messages feed. To get started, click inside the white box that says "Type your message here" to begin composing your message from scratch or select an email template:
Use the formatting tool bar to personalize your message or add attachments by selecting the "Paperclip" icon in the bottom left.
Indicating recipients
By default, sending a message from a trip's Messages tab will only send it to the primary traveler. However, you do have other options! Check out the guides below for more specific instructions:
- Send a trip message to someone other than the primary traveler
- Send a trip message to multiple travelers at once (using CC)
- Automatically copy all travelers on a trip when sending a trip message
Automate a follow up message
If your client does not respond in a certain amount of time, you can enable an automated follow up message to check in. Here's how
Save a message draft or schedule to send later
You can save this message as a draft or schedule the message to be sent later in the bottom right corner:
Cancel a message
You can cancel an email up to 10 seconds after clicking the "Send" button. Look for the green "undo" option in the bottom left of your screen:
Send a group message
This process is similar to sending a message within an individual trip, however, this message can be sent to all travelers within a group or just a selected few.
| 💡 If you’d like to use the “Send all” feature, you will first need to connect your Google Mail or custom domain email address. For steps on getting this set up, you can see this guide. |
To get started, open your group and ensure that you are on the All travelers tab. From here, you will see the ability to click in the white text box that states "Announce something to the entire group".
Next, you'll compose your message using the formatting tool bar or select and customize an email template:
If needed, attachments can be added in the bottom left of the message box. The message can also be saved as a draft if you need to come back to it:
Indicating group message recipients
When sending a group message, you'll have the ability to send the message to all travelers (if your email is connected under your messaging settings) or select which particular travelers receive it:

How can I avoid my emails that go out to a group booking from being blocked after so many send?
