Throughout TravelJoy, there are a number of status indicator buttons to help you understand the status of particular forms, messages, and other parts of the platform. This guide specifically covers status indicators from the message feed.
A few status indicators will appear on messages that you've sent via the trip message feed, including:
- Client has likely opened and read this email message (see note below)
- Client has clicked the link to open the form, invoice, or proposal contained in your message
- Client has reviewed the proposal and clicked the "Approve Proposal" button
Important notes about the "Opened" button
There are times when this button will be visible even though the client has not opened the message. This can be caused by a number of things, including but not limited to:
- The client has an app that loads the full content of a message before they click to read the message
- The client uses Gmail or another service that can "preload" images in a message
- The agent has opened the same email in their Sent folder
- The agent has an app that loads the full content of Sent messages without opening them
There are also times when this button will not be visible even though the client has opened the message. This happens when something causes the tracking code to stop loading, including but not limited to:
- An ad-blocker or other security app
- Private browsing or similar security features
- The client choosing to receive messages in plain text only
Because of this, it is important to note that the "Opened" status indicator is a good guide, and is not perfectly accurate.
