Introduction
TravelJoy's Smart Proposals offer even more flexibility, allowing you to present full sets of options to clients in a single, streamlined view. Instead of sending multiple proposals, you can group related items—such as flights, hotels, and activities—into easy-to-compare option sets.
Follow these steps to add options to Smart Proposals:Â
1. Create a smart proposal. If you're unsure how, see this guide for instructions.Â
2. Click "Add options" on the top of the proposal builder:
Â
3. A new option set will appear, allowing you to add multiple options that can include both sections and items:Â
Â
4. Preview the Smart Proposal to see the options from your client's view:Â
That's it! Share the Smart Proposal with your client so they can choose their options for their trip.
Clients must select at least one option in every set, but can choose multiple if they wish:
You can also offer options and collect payments on the same proposal! Just enable direct payments, and add a price for every option. Then, your clients can choose and pay for the option they like most.
| 💡 Pro tip: Use Copilot to create options quickly and seamlessly. Not familiar with Copilot? Check out this guide to learn more. |
After approval
When your client approves the proposal, it turns into an itinerary, and you’ll see their selections in the trip message feed and the approval email you receive:

So, once the smart proposal has been converted to an itinerary, there is no longer a record of the proposal that was sent to the client. Ugh.

Is there a way to disapprove a proposal if the client mistakenly hit approve?
