Introduction
Supplier payments on smart proposals make the process seamless. Clients can approve a proposal and authorize payment in one step. No need for separate invoicing, as an invoice is automatically generated when the client authorizes their card on the proposal.
Follow these steps to enable authorizations:
1. In Proposal settings, click the "Pricing" tab. Then, select "Accept supplier payment":
2. Choose your terms and condition from the drop down menu
3. Adjust your pricing settings and add prices to your proposal items if you choose itemized prices:
4. Preview the proposal and invoice to see your client's view! Click "Invoice" to preview the supplier payment process.
Client view of the proposal and checkout:
When the client clicks 'Approve and Authorize' on your proposal, they'll be directed to a checkout screen. There, they'll sign the terms and conditions and enter their credit card information to approve the proposal and authorize payment.
If you've included pricing for options, the total amount authorized will depend on the option the client selects!
Invoice is automatically generated into Files:
Once the client approves the proposal and authorizes payment, a paid invoice will be automatically created for you. You'll also have access to the client’s credit card information to pay your suppliers.
If the client only pays a deposit, the invoice will reflect the remaining balance and the final payment due date you selected. The client can then complete the remaining payment directly through the invoice.

This process isnt working.
I set up the smart proposal with 3 options for my client and well as it being a full payment to supplier invoice. However when client select the option then on to put their payment information and click authorize, nothing happens. Its stuck on the authorize screen and does not process the request.
How does the client select authorization for only the deposit amount? No matter what I do it only provides the option to pay in full, despite having entered a deposit amount.
Loved this feature. But I'm finding it won't work for people that use Traveljoy in Canada. When the client went to fill in credit card information with "City" then "State" I won't allow anyone from Canada. Will this be changed so that other Countries will be able to use this feature?Â
