Keeping your clients on track with reviewing and approving proposals is easy in TravelJoy. By setting up automatic proposal reminders, you can make sure clients don’t miss important deadlines and you stay on top of pending approvals.
Set Up Your Proposal Reminder Email Template
Before you can send reminders, make sure you have an email template saved for proposal reminders.
- Go to Settings → Email Templates.
- Edit the email template titled Proposal Follow-up (default). Include the language you want clients to see when they’re reminded to review or approve a proposal.
Set Up Proposal Reminder Notifications
To ensure clients are reminded to review and approve proposals, turn on your reminder settings are enabled in your account:
- Go to Settings → Automation in the left-hand navigation menu.
- Under Trips and Proposals, toggle the Proposal setting to on, then set the number of days after sending the proposal and what time you'd like the reminder sent to your client.
- Lastly, select Proposal Follow-up (default) in the template section. You may also want to send yourself a copy of the reminder and/or mark the reminder task as complete by checking the appropriate boxes.
Set Up Proposal Reminders Per Smart Proposal
In addition to account-level settings, you can also set reminders for each proposal individually when you send it.
- When you send a smart proposal, you’ll see an option to enable or adjust reminders for that specific proposal.
- If you have the automation enabled on your account, this option will be turned on by default.
- You can customize or turn off reminders for that specific smart proposal without changing your overall account settings.
