At this time, TravelJoy only supports automated birthday emails. You can learn how to set this up in this guide.
It’s important to understand that automated messages generally fall into two categories:
- Transactional emails: Related to an ongoing trip or service.
- Marketing emails: General outreach not tied to a specific transaction (like holiday greetings, newsletters, or anniversary messages).
TravelJoy is built for transactional communication, and our email system doesn’t currently support broader marketing automation—such as sending newsletters or campaign-style emails—nor do we offer opt-in management or unsubscribe links required for marketing compliance.
If you’d like to send other types of automated marketing messages (like anniversary emails or newsletters), we recommend two options:
- Manual messages: You can send one-off messages from the client profile when needed.
- Use a marketing platform: Many agents choose to export their TravelJoy contact list (see how here) and import it into a tool like MailChimp or Flodesk. Most email marketing platforms allow you to automate messages based on important dates and will skip duplicate records on future imports.
