How to get started
From your email inbox, locate the email containing the information you’d like to add to a proposal or itinerary within TravelJoy. Once located, forward the email to magic@traveljoy.ai.Â
| 💡 For the smoothest import experience, it’s best to ensure each TravelJoy trip includes the client's name, travel dates, and destination, and that the same details appear in any email you forward. If details are missing, that’s okay! You can simply add them to the email subject or body. |
You'll receive an email notification within a few minutes of sending confirming that we've received the email, and asking you to confirm the trip this proposal information will be added to:

Once confirmed, you'll be taken right to the proposal in TravelJoy to review and make any edits. Â

FAQs
Does a trip already need to be created within TravelJoy to import details?
No, a trip does not need to already be created. If Magic email is unable to match a current trip to the forwarded details, you'll be given the opportunity to create a new trip from the received confirmation email.Â
Can I only forward emails from the email associated with my TravelJoy account?
You can forward from any email address. If we don't recognize your email, we'll ask you to connect it with your TravelJoy account so we know where your email forwards should go.
What if my client’s trip in TravelJoy already has a proposal or itinerary?
Rather than creating a new proposal, Magic email will add the forwarded details to the already created proposal or itinerary within your client’s trip.
Can Magic email import details from an attachment in the forwarded email?
Yes! If you’ve attached documents that share details regarding your client’s trip, Magic email will also import this information automatically.
