Add a child rate to your group package

Child rates are a specific pricing option designed to cater to the unique needs of families traveling with children. Numerous suppliers offer child pricing to make family travel easier for your clients, and with this feature you can easily add these options to your Group Booking page.

Add a child rate to a package:

Let's get started by creating a package for your Group Booking page. If you need a refresher, check out this guide.

Once you've created a package, click on "Add child rate" under the Price section:

Enter in the amount for the child rate per child, per night and click Save. Currently, the child rate will remain as per child, per night even if the standard price is set to per person, all nights.

When your client books with children:

Once your client picks their package, they will have the option to set the number of adults and children included in the booking:

In order to move forward with adding child travelers, at least one adult needs to be added. From there, your client will be taken to the forms you’ve chosen for your travelers to fill out.

Because most children don’t have email addresses, an email address is not required for the Additional Traveler (Child) selection.

Child bookings on the Group Status page:

Once your clients have booked through your Group Booking page, their booking will show up on the Group Status page. A child traveler will be indicated by the child icon below:
