I am very excited about this feature! Once the group itinerary is sent out, will there be an opportunity to customize it within the individual trips? For example - we may have a shared group itinerary but different flights/transfers based on the location of the individual guests. It would be great to send out the group itinerary and still be able to customize it based on flights and transfer times for the individual trips.

I too am wondering the same thing.  Can we customize it for each individual with flight/hotel.  Did you get an answer back yet?

Checking to see if this was ever answered.

Rhonda, yes, you can, and you can specify if it is only for a certain person/group of individuals or the whole group.

I have a group of 3 reservations with the exact itinerary - flights, hotels, car, etc. So the section/item information will be exactly the same for each client - but is there a way I can attach travel documents within each section just for each individual reservation? I would like to attach one hotel confirmation pdf per client, not all three.

I manage a destination wedding group where guests select their preferred room type at the time of booking. When creating packages, the system requires connecting an item to each room type — but the same item cannot be connected to more than one package.

I'm looking for best practice guidance on how to handle this. As a workaround, I added each room type to the itinerary, but this creates a duplicate experience since room types now appear in both the itinerary and the packages section.

Ideally, it would be helpful if a single connected item (e.g., "Stay at Secrets Tides Punta Cana") could be reused across multiple packages, with each room type linked to that one item.

An additional layer of complexity is that guests have flexible check-in and check-out dates within a set booking window — most stays are 5 nights, but there is also a mix of 4- and 7-night stays.

Is there a recommended way to set this up cleanly?

    Hi LaShawn,

Great questions! Right now, there is not a workaround to having one itinerary item linked to multiple packages - though I have shared this request with our product team for further review!

In regard to clients needing flexible check-in and check-out dates, we do have a tool that will help with this! When creating your group booking page, you’ll want to select “Travelers can book between two dates” when setting up your booking options:

From here you can select the date range available and set a minimum and maximum night stay.

For assistance with a particular group, I recommend reaching out to hello@traveljoy.com and our team would be happy to help personalize these instructions.
