Forms are used for any communication in which you’d like to ask questions and record answers from a client. You can create any kind of form using TravelJoy’s custom form fields. You can also edit an existing default template.
Check out the three videos below or scroll down for written instructions:
Create the form template and choose the form settings
Let’s imagine you want to create a new template to collect hotel package preferences from a client planning a trip. Here’s how you set up the template in order to send your form.
On the left-side menu, navigate to Templates -> Forms and click the "Add form" button:
In the top section, configure the settings of this form. Give your template a memorable, descriptive name, then update the advanced settings for your form by looking under the "Hide advanced form options" drop down:
Note: If you need to create a new email template with this form, you can do so later and come back to the form template to designate the right email later. You may also choose the email button text and the form completion button text.
Next, determine whether you'd like to add terms and conditions or a credit card authorization section to this form by checking the listed boxes in the settings area. To learn more about these options, check out this guide.
Add custom fields by dragging and dropping into the desired location
To add your first field, use your mouse to drag a field option from the right side of the screen into your form area and drop it where you'd like it to be added. You can always drag it to a new position later:
Edit a field by hovering over it and clicking the blue "edit pencil"
Make a question required by checking the Required box
Enter the field’s name in the area marked Label
Add guidance language that shows when a client hovers over the “?”
Click Close and Save
Delete custom fields by hovering over the existing question and clicking the “x”
When finished, click the "Save" button.
If you no longer wish to use a form template, visit the Form Templates page and click the archive button next to that template. This can help keep your active templates organized and reduce clutter.
Because form templates are archived rather than deleted, forms that you've already scheduled to be sent to clients will not be affected by archiving the form template. For this reason and others, the platform does not offer an option to fully delete these templates.

I keep trying to add a paragraph to one of my forms, and after I save, it won't show up in the preview or link. Are they limited by character count or how many paragraphs I can have in a form? The two others I have are visible, but this one (whether I copy and paste the content or type it in directly or even put it in a different spot in the form) WILL NOT SHOW UP!
