You can add commissions data within each invoice directly and edit this info via the invoice, or via the Commissions and Sales Report.
💡 For items with a quantity of more than one, enter the total commission amount. |
Adding commission info via invoice
When adding a new invoice item, click on the pencil icon to the right of that item to open the details, then click on the Commission tab to enter your commission amounts, dates, and splits:
If you've already added an item, you can edit the item to update this information by clicking the blue pencil icon for that line item, which will open the same box you see above:
Click the "Commission" tab and enter your information.
Editing commission info via reporting
The information you entered on the invoice above will appear in the Details tab of the Commissions & Sales report (under Reports).
Any data paired with a blue edit icon (which looks like a pencil) can be edited directly from this report and will be reflected directly on the invoice after being updated here. To see more about this, check out our article covering the full Commission & Sales Report here.
