💡Note: This feature applies to individual or manually-booked trips. If your trips were both booked via a group booking page, check out this guide instead. |
If you have two trips on your dashboard and the clients have decided they'd like to be roommates, you can merge these into a single trip while keeping the invoices separate so that each client can continue paying for their share.
To get started, open the secondary trip -- the one that will be merged into another trip -- by clicking it on your dashboard or search results. Next, click the three dots to the left of the blue Create button and select "Merge into other trip" as seen below:
In the box that pops up, you'll be able to choose the primary trip -- the one you'll be merging into:
Select the other trip that will be part of this newly-merged trip and click "Merge Trip." Remember that this cannot be undone, so always double-check before clicking! When the page reloads, you will see that the two trips have been merged.
Note: If you're not sure which trip should be "primary" and which should be "secondary," it may not matter in that particular case. This is most important when one of the primary travelers will be taking primary responsibility for the trip.
