Sync your TravelJoy calendar to Google or Outlook

You can share your tasks, trips, and more from your TravelJoy calendar to your Google or Outlook calendar app.

Step 1: Set up your synced calendar

To get started, click the link to your Calendar on the left-side menu in TravelJoy and choose "Sync to Google Calendar/Outlook" at the top-right corner:

From there, you'll choose which items you'd like to sync to your external calendar:

Note: To only sync tasks that still need your attention, choose "To Do." This will remove tasks marked as complete in TravelJoy the next time the calendars sync.

Step 2: Obtain the link for your synced calendar

Once you've chosen your preferred settings, click Enable to see your calendar-syncing link:

Copy this link and check out one of the guides below to add the link to your external calendar.

Step 3: Add your synced calendar to your calendar app

Google Calendar: 

  1. On your computer, open Google Calendar.
  2. On the left, next to "Other calendars," click Add Add other calendars and then From URL.
  3. Enter the calendar's address.
  4. Click Add calendar. The calendar appears on the left, under "Other calendars."

Tip: It might take up to 12 hours for changes to show in your Google Calendar.

Outlook Calendar: 

  1. Sign in to Outlook on the web.

  2. At the bottom of the page, select Calendar to go to Calendar.

  3. In the navigation pane, select Add calendar.

  4. Under Add calendar, select Subscribe from web.

  5. Under Link to the calendar, type the URL for the linked calendar.

  6. Select Import.

    Hi Alan, I'm having trouble getting tasks to show when synced. It's showing trips, but nothing else. Any tips?

    Making updates to what information is synced to your external calendar can take up to 24 hours to reflect these changes. If this amount of time has passed, please send us a support request through the blue support button in your TravelJoy account regarding this so we can further investigate for you!

    Hi - I'm having an issue with duplicate items on my calendar. How do I fix that? Reference items in brown in screen shot.

    Is there a way to have the trips sync'd to my Google Account BUT to have them show as Free and not Busy? I want to be able to see the clients trips on my calendar but not for their trip to block my Google Calendar for appoitnments because their trip marks me busy.
