Overview
Groups give you the ability to send messages, forms, and invoices to everyone in a group, but also give you the control to separate sensitive communication between traveling parties. To send a group message, open your group and click the "All Travelers" tab, this will automatically place you on the "Group Messages" tab. Below the "Welcome to Groups" section, type your message or choose a template from the dropdown. You can send it to all travelers at once using “Send All…” or customize messages individually with “Send Individually…”. Each message is sent separately, and replies will only appear in the specific traveler's trip message feed!

Let's take a more detailed look at sending a quick group message together.
Create your group message
We'll start within your group on the "All Travelers" tab:
-
Click the "All Travelers" tab
-
Click "Group Messages"
-
Start typing your message
You can also select an existing email template from the dropdown menu located in the bottom left corner of the message box that appears.
Send your group message
Once you’re ready to send your message, you’ll have two options to do so: “Send All…” or “Send Individually…”
💡Note: If you’d like to use the “Send All” feature, you will first need to connect your Google Mail or custom domain email address. For steps on getting this set up, you can see this guide. |
The “Send All…” button allows you to send your message to all of your group’s travelers at once:
The “Send Individually…” button allows you to customize each message and skip any travelers who do not need to receive the message:
Click "Cc" during review to add additional travelers who are not copied by default per your trip settings.
Once sent, each email, whether sent to only some or all travelers, will be sent as a separate email to the person or people on a trip. If you customize a note during the review for one person, only that person will see it. Any replies to this message will appear in that traveler's trip message feed only and will not be seen by other trips within the group.Â
