When setting up your new TravelJoy account, you are prompted to set up your outgoing email address. The purpose of connecting your outgoing email is to ensure that your clients will receive messages from the same email address they always have.
However, this is not a mandatory feature, and you can still send messages without connecting your outgoing email address. If you choose to skip this step, messages to your clients will come from the following email address:
​Your Name <messaging@traveljoy.com>
Your clients will still receive your messages, you will still receive their replies, and everything will work exactly as it does when your own email address is connected for sending. The only difference will be the email address your client sees in the "From" field of the email message.
