Note: The following feature is not available to members who've connected through Google Mail, since Google Mail automatically stores messages in your Sent folder.
While some email providers automatically store a copy of messages sent through TravelJoy in your "Sent" folder, some do not.
For those providers, we allow agents to automatically BCC (blind carbon copy) themselves on all messages sent through TravelJoy. This will cause each sent message to be copied to your inbox, and from there, you can set up a rule to automatically move the message to your Sent folder.
Step 1: Enabling BCC
First, head to Settings -> Email and choose "Enable BCC."
Once you do so, all messages you send will also be copied to your inbox!
Step 2: Setting up a mailbox rule
Most mail providers and mail apps allow you to set up mailbox rules. This looks different for each provider, and most have their own guides to help you navigate this feature. Once you've located this option with your provider or app, you want to set up the following rules:
- For all messages that are FROM your own email address
- And for which you are NOT on the "To" line (since you are BCC'd)
- Move these messages to the SENT folder
In the video below, we show you how to do this with two popular options: Outlook (the app) and Outlook.com (the site). If you cannot find a guide for your email provider or app, reach out and let us know!
