Note: This guide assumes that you've already set up a team. If you'd like to learn more about how team members and assistants can use TravelJoy, check out this guide.
There are a number of reasons why you may want to expand your team members' or assistants' access within TravelJoy:
- Your assistant was brought on to cover the entire team (not just you)
- Your team member is covering while you are out of the office for an extended period
- Your "team member" is actually a partner in the agency and requires access
We can help by allowing you to enable and disable this access, along with access to clients' payment details for additional security. The changes below will all take place by visiting Settings -> Team.
Access to other members' dashboards (including yours)
To enable one team member's access to the dashboard, trips, and clients of other members, click "Select Members" to the right of their name:
In the box that pops up, select all of the team members you'd like them to be able to access, and then click Save:
This team member will now have access to switch to other dashboards in the same way as the team owner, as seen in this guide.
Access credit card details for other members' clients
Once a member can access another member's dashboard, you can also choose to enable their access to client payment details. To do this, simply change the "OFF" button to "ON" under "Credit Card Access," as seen in the screenshot above.
What can team members access?
Team members will not have access to other members' private, secure areas such as banking details, outgoing email settings, or reporting. They will also not have access to change membership details.
Instead, they will have access to the dashboard, contact list, and all trips and groups of the member they are viewing, and will be able to interact with clients.
When interacting with clients, messages will continue to come from the original team member and contain the original team member's signature by default.
